Meet Cindy Canty-Dumas, an enthusiastic yoga practitioner who began her transformative journey in 2018. Over the years, yoga has evolved from a simple practice into a profound lifestyle, enriching her with physical strength, mental clarity, and emotional balance.
As Cindy deepened her understanding and appreciation of yoga, her passion for sharing its benefits with others grew. This motivation led her to pursue a 200-hour certified yoga teacher training program with I AM YOGA, which she will complete in June 2025.
Cindy's classes focus on cultivating mindfulness and fostering a sense of community. She draws inspiration from various styles, incorporating elements of Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yin yoga to provide a well-rounded practice that nurtures both body and soul. She skillfully adapts poses, ensuring that yoga is accessible and beneficial for all, empowering each individual to discover strength and balance for a holistic experience on their mat.
When she's not on the mat, Cindy loves exploring nature, practicing mindful living, and continuously learning about holistic wellness. She firmly believes in the power of yoga to heal, inspire, and connect us all and is excited to guide others on their journeys of self-discovery and well-being.
