Cultivating Your Heart as An Altar A Retreat of Remembrance

With all we are holding in these moments of global ache, we are being called to listen into the tremors and recommit to practices for social healing. We are being called to acknowledge our interdependence and gather the wisdom from generations who tend this earth’s garden. We are being called to witness each other from the inner eye of the heart.

Join yoga teachers Kiesha Battles, Tiffany Curtis, and Phyllis Jeffers-Coly in this retreat of weaving spiritual teachings from yogic, Buddhist, and Afro-Indigenous insight to cultivate the altar of your heart.

Through meditation, asana, and story-sharing, all are invited to:

  • Embrace the power of vulnerability within Self and community.

  • Connect to your body as the wisdom-keeper for collective liberation.

  • Reimagine the shape and voice of your heart.

As we journey together through practices of soul remembrance, we will engage asanas of hatha, yin, and restorative yoga as the seals for integrating our shared awakening. We invite you to expand into deeper knowing of your heart’s voice to awaken the paths of liberation needed for our time.
